Historic Canal Days 2017
Each June, Indiana County kicks off summer with fun, fireworks, and funnel cakes in Saltsburg, PA! We invite you to join us at the 36th Annual Historic Canal Days Festival, happening June 2, 3, and 4, 2017!
Saltsburg is small town bursting with historic charm and outdoor amenities. Our festival takes place in the center of town, on Canal Park. The West Penn Trail passes through, so bring a bicycle to enjoy a trail ride during the festival. Take a free tour of the Rebecca Hadden Stone House Museum or stroll along the Conemaugh River. Feeling like an adventure? Rent a kayak for a float from the Conemaugh Dam, back to our festival. When you return, grab a bite to eat, sit and relax. Listen to free concerts by local bands, enjoy family-friendly games and activities, and so much more! Canal Park will be filled with amazing hand-crafted goods from local artists and crafters. On Saturday, you'll want to see the fireman's parade; and make sure to stay for the first great fireworks display of summer.
There is free parking available at lots throughout town, with free shuttle service to the festivities!
Are you interested in becoming a vendor at Historic Canal Days? We're looking for food and novelty vendors, and artists, crafters and makers to display their goods at this year's festival. You'll set up along Saltsburg's Canal Park, where visitors will pass all weekend. Click here for a vendor form.
